Midnight was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. Midnight got her name after she won a rap battle against another female artist. The name was given to her when someone told her “you are just like the time 12:00 am because it creeps up on you”. The name “Midnight” represents her music getting listeners every day, just like the time.

Growing up she listened to Easy E, Tupac, Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Eric B. & Rakim, Kool Moe Dee

Other than rapping, she is a published poet, decent singer, and accomplished songwriter as she writes her songs.

She’s worked with several Jacksonville artists including Courtney Lacey, Jim Dave, Jimmy Ya, Chevy Dauvas, Cody B.

Midnight gives encouraging advice to anyone trying to make it in music. “Don’t give up, keep pushing/fighting, if someone turns you down find someone else, never give up, keep moving where there’s a will there’s a way.”
